If you’ve heard of IV drip therapy or even tried it yourself, you’ll know that it’s a great way to maintain and support your wellness – an absolute must in today’s fast-paced and frenetic world. And given that IV therapies are hydrating, rich in nutrients, safe – what’s not to love?

But while you may want to fit it into your wellness routine, busy schedules and juggling a lot can make it difficult to get to a clinic as often as you’d like to – if at all.

That’s where REVIV’s mobile IV therapy can help. Fitting into your plans and location, offering a convenient and effective solution, think of it like booking a mobile nail technician, mobile spray tanner or mobile physio. Sometimes it’s just easier to let us bring the drip to you.

But what’s even possible and how exactly can it work for you? Here’s what you need to know.

What is Mobile IV Therapy?

Mobile IV therapy delivers intravenous (IV) therapies directly to you wherever you want to have it. This could be at your workplace or office, at home, in your hotel room or suite. You name the place, we’ll be there with the drip, cannula, infusion and everything that goes with it.

The idea is to provide the same service as IV therapy in a clinic, but with the added benefit and convenience of not having to travel.

‘Mobile IV drip therapy offers the same high quality service, professionalism and care in your own home, hotel room or office. Whether it’s for a luxury experience, convenience or privacy, REVIV is here to support you,’ says Cheryl Lomax, REVIV Clinical Lead & Registered Manager.

You may choose to have yours when you’re working from home but can’t get to a clinic. Or maybe you’ve not felt 100% so to save your energy you book an at-home infusion to hydrate and support your wellness. Maybe you just haven’t seen your girlfriends for a while and decide to kickstart your wellness journeys together with a group IV therapy booking at your place.

‘Discover the benefits of group mobile IV bookings at REVIV. Join forces with your friends or colleagues for a shared wellness experience, enhancing your health in a supportive and social environment,’ says Kari Armamento, Operations Director of REVIV US.

Contact us and ask for our Mobile IV service, then leave the rest to us.

As well as your location and ideal days and times, we’ll also find out what your wellness goals are so we can help recommend the most suitable therapy for you. As safety is paramount at REVIV, we’ll also ask some questions about your current health status and medical history, to make sure this is a suitable service for you.

Remember, IV therapy is not suitable for:

  • under 18s (under 21s in the US)
  • when pregnant
  • during breastfeeding.

If for any reason we arrive at your location and cannot do the IV due to health status we will offer a refund for the IV. You will still be charged the mobile IV fee.

2. Preparation of the IV Solution

We come to you, which means we will bring everything you need to prepare the IV infusion and administer it (see next step) safely at your home, hotel room or office.

Depending on the IV therapy you’ve chosen to have it will typically include a formulation of fluids, electrolytes, vitamins and minerals – sometimes medications depending on the IV.

Most IVs contain sodium chloride and key vitamins, such as vitamin C, B-complex vitamins, magnesium, zinc or calcium ready to help support your own personal wellness concerns.

Popular Mobile IVs include:
Megaboost – contains a blend of B vitamins, vitamin C and minerals in one drip
Vitaglow – contains glutathione to help support healthy skin, nails and hair
HELIIX – our premium IV infusion containing zinc, alpha-lipoic acid, glutathione and vitamin B12
Ultraviv – a special blend of vitamins and other ingredients to hydrate and support your recovery
Royal Flush – Packed with vitamins, minerals and more, the Royal Flush IV drip works to support normal recovery and wellness
NAD+ – support your body’s normal Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD) levels with this therapy popular amongst bio-hackers.

3. Administration of the IV Drip

REVIV staff are all fully-trained medical professionals. When you book a mobile IV appointment, we will send a clinician who is likely to be a registered nurse, paramedic or former NHS healthcare worker.

On arrival they will go through the strict procedure followed in clinics, setting up a sterile environment to ensure safety and hygiene standards are up to our high clinic standards.

The clinician will start with a short health consultation checking your temperature, blood pressure and heart rate are all normal.

They will then set up the cannula into your vein, usually in your arm. With the help of a cold numbing spray you’ll feel a short sharp scratch but it should not be painful.

The cannula then enables you to be connected to the prepared IV infusion, which will drip slowly directly into your bloodstream while you relax, watch TV – or carry on working!

4. Monitoring and Completion

During the infusion, which typically takes about 30 to 60 minutes, your clinician will monitor the IV drip and make sure you are comfortable.

Once it is complete, they will remove the cannula and bandage up your arm as required before packing up and leaving you to enjoy your day.

Regular therapies are recommended so remember to book in for your next mobile IV with us.
